Mike Shorer – Award-Winning Goldsmith & Jewellery Designer
Award-winning, seventh-generation goldsmith Mike Shorer creates exceptional bespoke jewellery, uniting artistic vision with master craftsmanship.
Trained at the prestigious Sir John Cass School of Art, his work has sold at Harrods, Tiffany New York and Mitsukoshi Japan, and worn by royalty, music legends and film stars.
From museum-accurate historic reproductions to iconic trophies and jewellery for major film and television productions, each piece is handcrafted in his East Sussex studio with precision, integrity and enduring beauty.
Jewellery to be worn, treasured, and passed on.
Historic Jewellery Reproduction
Founded in 1969 by Peter Shorer, FIIC, Historic Jewellery Reproduction was the first company permitted to mould original artefacts from the British Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Roman Palace sites and important Places of Interest.
Trophies & Presentation Pieces
Mike Shorer designs and handcrafts prestigious trophies and presentation pieces for global brands, institutions and private commissions. Each award is individually conceived and executed with the same precision and artistry as his fine jewellery.
Film, TV & Special Projects
Mike’s jewellery has featured in major international productions including The Crown, Gladiator and House of the Dragon, commissioned by Netflix, BBC, Sky and Universal. Working to demanding schedules, he creates historically accurate and character-defining pieces for the screen.
Each piece is a one-off
Cremation Ash Jewellery
I have designed and made Memorial Jewellery incorporating Cremation Ash in special coloured enamel for many years now. Each piece is unique and made in such a way to look like a beautiful piece of Jewellery – only you would know it contains your loved one’s ashes, or indeed hair, or pet’s fur.
You can choose any colour you like and because the enamel is translucent, you will see the ash, hair or fur within it.
My enameller, Wendy at Toonpish Crafts, is one of the UK’s leading Resin Enamel artists and we regularly create rings, pendants, bangles, bracelets, earrings and cufflinks with this technique.
